Hi everyone, just want to know if there is any mechanic who is good in Perth for our BMW, such as providing pre inspection service, coding service (for fitting the aftermarket products)?

May I ask how much will it cost if I want the mechanic to code the AE for a 2008 E92 as DRL? Is it a lump sum paid for the coding? Or it is on per code basis?
Thinking to change the AE as well as a LED tail light from the 11+ model. (Both needs coding as far as I know)

Just bumping this to check recommendations again - from what I can tell it's either BM Teckniks or Ramp Auto Group as the top 2? I'm in western suburbs and both of these are 30mins way which is okay.

When I had my E30 Hartge years ago I used Terry Le May and Swiss Motors, but have heard both are winding their businesses down.

What do indies charge per hour these days, as I have most of the parts?

I am considering the Ramp Auto or German Auto Service....would love to hear some more review against them and then I will use that for the life of my vehicle?
Don't want to keep changing mechanic.

Based on recommendations from this post I took the plunge and contacted Regan and Adrian from Ramp Auto Group in Malaga. They have a lot of experience with our cars. I have had them fit FMIC, AR Downpipes, OCC, DCI, JB4 and everything has been smooth as silk. They know exactly what they're doing. They can also do custom SS exhaust systems, and lots of other stuff, including your regular services. I still havent used them for a service, just the bolt on mods.
