TR Turbos

To all the people on here that know a hell of a lot more than me, Would these TR turbos be a good choice for DD upgrade? I really like the vband designed... https://www.amazon.com/gp/r.html?C=2...3390_439632190

That is very expensive for Amazon turbos. My OEM Vargas were way cheaper than that.

Is that usd or cad?

I have a set of their 16t. Love them. I got them when they had a 10% off sale.

They do not include wastegate actuators, and it took some grinding to get the wastegate rod end to fit over the pin on turbos. Also, the middle v-band clamps needed to be moved to fit oil feed lines.

Other than those minor issues, they are great bang for the buck.

A reputable shop near me, "German Auto Werks" on facebook has pictures of some that were recently installed and the guy literally had issues within 70 miles...
