Help needed with PC

Is it possible to polish the E90's top edge of the trunk lid with PC? I mean the part above license plate where the emblem is. It is concave and narrow so can it be polished with normal 5" pad? I have understood that I should avoid polishing all the corners because it will easily wear out the clear cote. Is it o.k. just to tilt the PC as much as needed? It will of course cause some splatter but will it cause marring as well if only the edge of the pad touches the surface?

You should be OK if you tilt the machine to get into the area. I tilt my PC in tight areas and have not had any problems.

Or get smaller 4" pads. Also work great at polishing headlights.
