Yes its true. BMW now have 26 new efficient dynamics cars available here in Aus.

The deletion of the 323 and introduction of 320d and 330d in E92/93 says it all.
Move over petrol, diesel is taking over.

Australians have been so slow in the uptake in diesel power but theyre starting to realise you can have 'power and economy' out of a diesel engine.

So i suppose BMW is starting to respond to the 35+% of diesels registered last year and the coming order bank.

Everything bar the 1 series and 7 series now has two diesel engine offerings.

Imagine having a 3.0 diesel in a 1 series! Bring that on!!!

IMO BMW should get rid of the 323 all together, and lower the 325's pricing.

Thanks for the info.

My view has always been that Comfort Access should be standard.

It is rude to increase the 330d by $700 and not introduce an innovations pack for it, ie one has to shell out big $$ to get the pro navi...

But I like the idea of being able to access the music on my phone... I presume that this works like the iPod integration.

323 E90 price has just been lowered. Nothing yet on the 325.

Australians are too power hungry, the 318i & 320i just wouldnt cut it. The 320d coupe is a great idea. The 323 coupe never really sold due to its low power.

I think it would be better if they came standard with the Pro Nav

Yes this is a great idea, they shouldve been on to this from the start. Full integration is the go.
What it does is allows you to access your tunes from your phone while in the phone cradle.

Do you know if the standard suspension (in lieu of M Sport suspension) will retain the same ride height as the M Sport (i.e. looks the same, just not as firm)?

They just published the MY2010 BMW Order Guide (North America) on the homepage...

Anybody know if there is a similar publishable Guide for Oz?

FYI, a couple of unannounced changes to the standard equipment of post September 2009 E90s:
1. No rear cupholders (previously standard on all sedan models)
2. No luggage nets on front seat backs (previously standard on 6 cylinder sedan models)

When I asked the dealer about it, he advised that they had noticed the same thing but had not been notified (at that point) by BMW about it.

E92 330d would be a nice car but why can't they offer it in a manual >_<. Owell it looks like my next car will have to be a e92 335... Can't wait! Only roughly 2 years away!

Are you in new or used sales Jamie? I never thought i would see someone from coastline on these forums.

Just saw this reply so i figured i'd reply & disagree.

What is the biggest volume selling cars in BMW's range? e90 e30i 2ltr 4cylinders.

Back with the E36 when they did sell at 318i & 318is coupes, which model was the highest volume mover?

Not that i want one or anything, an aesthetically pleasing coupe for 2-3k more than a sedan at the lower end, would be a smart move for BMW and drive a lot of volume away from other marques at that price point, even with the lack of performance.
