Wow... that 135 is quick especially for PBIR. If you add that intake/meth kit combo you should be at well over 120 MPH.

OP: Do you plan on going back with Cobb's new race maps now that they are out in beta?

Edit: Just realized he was banned. Boo.

Get that 60 under 2s and you're in the 11's all day.

Here is my slip running Cobb stage 2+ with Helix FMIC and AR DP's on Shell 93 pump gas. I have an Xi coupe Automatic so that is why I was not in the high 11's -12 second range with my 1.8 60ft time. I ran a 12.6 bone stock with just Cobb stage 1 map.

In average for every.10 you drop on your 60' you drop about .20 of your E/T. I think you can brake in to the 11s with a 1.6 60', hope the best for you. Show that we awd aren't that slow lol. That map is definitely strong for 93oct, I like it!

Yeah I did manage to try out both maps at the dragstrip before I sold the Cobb AP to get rid of some unwanted debt. Those OTS maps really shined for me so I'll definitely try it out again in the near future again but in the meantime I will am going to enjoy my car being dormant lol. Here are some slips with the beta maps:

2008 135i
Cobb E30 maps
Helix FMIC
Raceland downpipes FTW
Stock everything else including stock runflats lol

I might of cracked 11s with a solid 2.0, oh well maybe sometime this year if I ever get another AP.

Awesome numbers!!!

On the stage 2+/Race gas/E30 maps - doesn't Cobb require an upgraded intake of some sort, and recommend an upgraded CBE? I'm just curious how much of a difference that could possibly have made.

Because of the weight difference of the 135i vs the 335is + drivers more than likely not with the Cobb off the shelf maps

Your probably looking at 114-116 on the Cobb Stage 2+ Race maps with the recomended mods depending on DA

The fastest 335is holding the record ET of 11.92 @ 117 Mpg, and best speed trap at 119 Mph, was Cobb ProTuned by Jake@PTF using my launch method

Thanks for the shout out. The 11.92 at 119 was "slow". The car has a bit more in it. Thats on stock runflats as well. I am still hoping to throw a tune on Bura's car

I'm going to hit the track up tomorrow on what might be the final E45 map from Jake at PTF. I will post results and expect to see some good numbers as long as my foot doesn't get too heavy too quickly out of the gate.

Contrary to the popular opinion on these forums, I don't like the DCI setup and just got a K&N drop in filter after my stock one was done for. Cobb recommends a catback exhaust, but it isn't required to run the map. I prefer my quiet car to be stealthy so I left my stock catback on and still managed to pull decent results despite the weight of the exhaust and backpressure with the secondary cats in place.

I never really had an issue when I ran those maps except for some misfires which were due to bad spark plugs and coils, so once that was taken cared of, it was a really fun ride. I no longer have my Cobb, so this thread is making me miss it more and more each day lol.

Nice. No criticism. More just curiosity. I am not a fan of the DCI set up either. I picked up a previously owned AFE stage 2 sealed intake and already have the BMW PE with VRSF DPs. Now I'm just waiting on an intercooler. The gas station down the street has 100 octane fuel at the pump. So, I'm really hoping between the intercooler, going the stage 2+, and running the 100 octane race fuel with associated map, that I can pull some pretty decent numbers.

Come back to the dark side. We have cake. And race fuel...

FYI, when its cold out remove the intake cover and enjoy, especially when at the track

I've got vrsf dp's, fmic and full berk street on the way. Or actually all should be on the way sometime in february.

Can't wait to see how things run. Though the track by my place closed down last year.

Anyone know if there is a general rule of thumb regarding how much altitude affects ETs? i.e. for every thousand feet you lose x seconds and x mph?

I am at 3600ft and curious what number OPs car would run here. guesstimately speaking that is.
