335d - shopping late in the game - pricing

I have been reading a LOT on this forum in the past few weeks and decided it was time to get serious.

I was curious what the 335d owners, here in the US, think about current market for a new or slightly used (or loaner) vehicle.

Confirmed: the eco credit and apr credits which are still on for all of oct 11. -3500 and -750.

They obviously didn't sell too well, I suppose, since most of the USA is anti-d.
However, I drove the car last week, with sport pkg, and loved it.

Can you give me any insight on purchasing a 335d right now? If you really want to see some nitty gritty, I posted some specs below.

There are a few cars on the east coast that have caught my eye:

silver on blk
msport
cold wea
prem
nav
hkardon
satell
ipod
apps
adaptive lighting - don't want
dynamic cruise - don't want

msrp 56950.00
online price 54981.00
we are down to 49800.00

that price !!!includes!!! so minus -3500 and -750. and
based on the 7% off msrp method, they are making $1000.
I thought the cars weren't selling well, and I would get a better deal.
however, to add insult to injury, the car was a loaner and has just under 4000miles on the clock!

le mans sport blue on blk
msport
prem
alarm
heated seats
navi
hkardon
ipod
adaptive lighting
satell
dyn cruise control

so no cold weather, but it has heated seats
however I wanted the folding rear seats.
and the car wasn't ordered with folding rear seats.
and it has an alarm, aside from those two things, the cars are very close.

56350.00 msrp
just under 9000 miles on it
I'm down to 43,000.

Buying a 'real' new one
I'm seeing around $55-56 msrp for the car I want.
So let's say 56, * 7% = 52080 for invoice.
-3500
-750
=47830.00
plus any fees, and commission on the deal
maco or training, not sure what that means, but I've been reading a lot on this forum, so I know they exist.

I'm financing, no trade. Thanks for your time.
Cheers,
ryebread

that second one looks good to me,
but i wouldn't buy a loaner car. then again, why not. then again, people beat on those. then again, how many enthusiasts will have driven that car? then again, bmw's like to be driven. then again, some people put low grade fuel in loaner cars. then again, this is a diesel. then again, ....
idk, it's your choice.

better and better and better. it always performed great but it became smoother and after 10k i noticed better gas mileage. now after 15k even better. i'm at 20k miles now and it gets great mileage. can't wait to throw my winters on and get even better mileage due to lighter rims and tires in each corner.

thx for your posts gents.

I got the blue car today for 42.5
made it certified/added 20m miles or 2 yrs to the warranty, so I'm covered for long time.
It was an in-state deal and far easier.
I will not take delivery until next week.
I'll post a proper "pls welcome me" thread once I have pics

thx again guys.
