Can clay "go bad"

I've got a Mothers Clay Bar kit that I've had in my garage for almost 2 years. Assuming it is still in the plastic package...any reason not to utilize it?

use it, you will be fine. if its rock hard, toss it out. that clay kit comes with a pliable bar, not a hard one
