Hi Makkan,

Yeah, please put me down for a set of stickers. I’m new (just picked up my 330d on Saturday) and this is my 5th post so I won’t be able to use the pm function for 24 – 48 hours according to the banner at the top of my forum page. I’ll send you a pm as soon as I can but it could be a day or two.

Also, I’m based in Dublin so let me know if postage will cost a bit more.

Thanks

Third and FINAL batch. It took my order to arrive in two weeks and I have no intentions to place another order, unless there is a huge demand.

If somebody is interested, then please start THIRD batch.

Well done though.

I'm not going to lose any sleep over some scumbag being offended by the sticker in my window,it could be worse and say:

'OBD disabled.....so f*ck off!'

Well done though.

I can understand that.
Half of me says, I do not need any stickers on my windows.
And half of it says, put something up there before your window is smashed or your car is taken away (in case if obd port is not disabled/moved).

I have made plenty of prototypes of these before going for this (see the photo on the other thread where sticker is white) and summary is:

1- Simple line of OBD port disabled on a transparent sheet is not enough. It is not clear enough from a distance.
Hence we added colour to this. Red colour is universal warning colour, so after experimenting with white, orange, black, and red stickers, red was choosen. We could not read the message from a distance (>10 feet approx), but at least red colour made us aware that something was on the window.

2- We do not know about these gangs. Their origins and their abilities to read. Can some of them actually read 'English'? No one is sure about this. But some suggestions are that some of these cannot even read English properly.

So we have added OBD logo with a sign of cross over it.

3- We have started with slightly bigger size, but that looked a bit out of proportion and hence I have requested to reduced the size of it. Now these are tiny but from 10 feet they are visible enough to be read.

Now whether you want these or not and if you are double minded, stay clear from these mate.

I have few left and if nobody wants them here, they can always be sold on fleabay with some margin of profit.

Well it sounds as though you put a lot of thought into it. Maybe selling it on eBay is a good idea. Good way to make money is to find a niche. How many other people out there are currently offering this!

I had a look at my windows last night and decided I'd rather have some sort of red writing, white outlined single line of text that would sit up very close to the corner they seem to be "hole punching" the windows to access the port. Or even right there on the dash where it can be easily seen from outside. Come to think of it, your one might work out fine on the dash close to the window.
I'm not entirely criticising your work. Just that I'm looking for another option.
