n54bewst, the sound wasn't what I was looking for. I came from an ETS CP w/TiAL. The TiAL has a different pitch on release. They are both equally as loud in my opinion but, the difference, your not getting the high-pitch whistle-type sound on release with Synapse. Also, low throttle releases aren't as defined. It's more even keel. I'm straight-up looking to annoy people, and myself in the process. Thus, I'm now HKS bound. I heard that will do the trick.
I've found that videos (both for exhaust and BOV's) don't help at all. The sound is subjected to the quality of the video/audio. It's never accurate. The best bet is to try them personally. In regards to BOV's specifically, people often misconstrue pitch with loudness (all of them make noise). They sound different and that's the key. If your looking for a straight even swoosh with no pitch (Synapse). If your looking for a higher pitch swoosh, with low throttle action as well (TiAL). I have yet to try the HKS (will have it in next week), but people say it's squeakier than the TiAL. Hope this helps. Last edited by TUN3D; 06-27-2013 at 09:01 AM.. |
