I am definitely keen and up for "numerous" Ring trips this year - just need to make a final decision on what bloody car i will be taking! Ants trip sounds good so I'm provisionally up for this but i would like to get there at least once before this trip. I am also adamant that i get to drive the Stelvio Pass and a few other iconic roads this year, either as a separate road trip or on the way to/from the Ring and i would love to do a Spa track day (but this will depend upon what track/road car i end up buying as i would prefer something with long legs for Spa). Oh and i totally echo everyones annoyance and dismay at the new Ring prices - daylight robbery but hey ho. I would also be keen to look at an officially organised trip like those via Dino IF we can get it at a competitive price etc.
I just need the right car now - will it be another CSL or an R26R???? Im getting sweaty palms already at the thought of humping full chat down the flunkenfartenfistentittenfartingtartenschliefen or whatever the bloody scary arse name its called!!!!!

Also guys we have two trackdays available now:

18th June & 20th August

Both are Mondays that follow a weekend of TF so best of both worlds

Pricing is being worked on shortly and I'll be back with details soon.

At the moment the track isn't open on either 2nd or 10th June.

The public dates that have been released so far are here

http://www.nuerburgring.de/en/angebo...dschleife.html

Bear in mind that there will be a more dates added, but these at the moment are the fixed dates.

Steve, I'd also like to do a track day in Spa this year, so let me know if you've got any specific day in mind. But note that Spa isn't fun if you don't have at least 400hp (or long legs...) under your butt.

What they have published right now are only the week-ends that are public holidays in Germany and on which, traditionally, the 'Ring is open. However, on these dates it will also be swamped with people, so a track day might be a better idea.

I think Tone is still somewhat in hibernation.

Good driving! Nice smooth lines mostly. A bit much speed around Adenauer Forst and Wehrseifen... And that Alfa was really annoying! You were driving faster and better than him.

That was/is my fear as i stated earlier - and quite obviously the R26.R does not have anything like 400BHP!! I guess it would be ideal if all cars on the track day were hot hatches etc or even an R26.R owners day etc. I have to say a lot of the guys from the R26R forum go to Spa so it must be doable?? Would like to give it a go just to say ive done it and tick it off the list.

Must catch up soon Dino - not sure what happened to my phone when we were chatting just before Xmas - didn't get a chance to call you back - but now i have the R26.R bought i really want to get some trips sorted.

Im doing Spa on April 27th but really want to get something in before then and definitely a Ring trip. Will call and chat and discuss. Tell me you have now got something fruity to hump around the track and not your wifes denzil??? Or have blown another M3 up again!!!!???

Wow it really had been a while mate! Soon after that 'ring trip above I bought another e36 m3, got it just how I wanted it then sold it on a couple of months ago.

I've got an e90 330i now. It's an SE but has a good spec, I just need to sort the suspension and if the 320d M was anything to go by should be pretty useful at the 'ring.

This thread has some pics of that car and some of my others: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=615699
