Tips on buying new rims

Well, found out today while putting new tires that one of my wheels(rear/passenger) is bent. The guy balancing the wheels showed me the wobble. Bought the car 2 months ago and had no idea this was the case. Anyways, I live in Northern Ca and I'm attaching some links to some stores I'm considering buying from although the prices seem to good to be true. Chances are, these are fakes. Am I risking life and limb going this route? I normally commute 100 miles round trip from work to home 4 days a week. Max speed 75mph. Well, er, sometimes more . Appreciate any feedbacks. My other option is to just buy 1 wheel, OEM style 162. How much should I pay for 1 wheel. There is a seller on CL asking for my offer. Wheel has slight curb rash although I havent seen any pix yet how big the rash is.

The right term for it is they are Replica's, not fake and those are pretty much the right prices for those rims.

Try contacting them and see if they're a wheel store.

Also Authentic BMW OEM rims are very expensive if bought brand new.

Thanks

I wouldn't trust those CL ads and the quality of those wheels.

Check out Wheeldude.com, they're located in Fremont, CA and have a good selection of wheel designs.

I bought rep 19" wheels from aspec
Bent all 4 within 1 week.
The wheels were manufactured by eurotek.
I would never do 19" replicas ever again.
The smaller the wheel the more rubber can be on it so the more abuse they can take.
My replica 19" didn't really take that much abuse, but bent never the less.
You may hae better luck with 18"
But regardless.......why is your only other option buying 1 new oem 162 wheel?
You can get a bent rim repaired for anywhere from $35-125.......if its on the inside lip it would be the cheapest
If its on the outside its more expensive because they have to reprint the whole front of the wheel

I'm a bit skeptical getting my OEM rim repaired. Not sure how reliable it would be. There is a listed OEM 162 on CL albeit some curb rash. If I can get this for a good price then I might go with this. Hopefully these arent repaired rims either. But thanks for the idea of getting it repaired. I will ask around for prices. Thanks everyone for your inputs.
