Blizzak LM 25 225 width on stock 18 imch 335 i (sport package rims)
Gents,
Will this be an issue? We originally have staggered tires with 225 for front and 255 for rear on the stock 18 inch rims? Will 4 225 width blizzaks fit all the way around without overhang of the wheels or will there be a stretch? Thanks Ahead

checking
If doing higher speeds on the interstate, 70-80mph, with this setup, will it be a concern since the rear tires won't "completely" cover/match the 8.5 wheels?
thanks Paul |

afterimage - No, I have this setup on my car and the stretch is very minimal. More than enough tire and I've never felt unsafe driving at highway speeds.

no, the tire should be rated for much higher speeds than 70-80 mph. I would just avoid having a front wheel and rear wheel on the same axle. try to keep them matched in pairs.

No issues there. LM-25 is a great tire for BMW. I bought them last year to replace LM-22 and am very happy with them although I haven't driven in snow deeper than 2 in. You can even go with 235 but 225 is better in snow. Also, each tire is designed/rated for the range of rim widths. Tire Rack has this info if you want to check, for example 7.5-8.5.
