How did you connect the aux input without using a aux cable?

That mount looks 100 times better then my windshield contraption that I have going. I now have one of those mounts on the way, totally worth it.

This is EXACTLY the same thing I'm in the process of doing. With the reverse-cam. I'm hoping to mount it a little lower on the kuda/dash though. Both for asthetics and for visibility. Is there any reason it is mounted higher that I should be aware of? (i.e. sattelite signal)

Not an issue, but good question. Bracket just attaches to the top of the dash. The front part is held in by the trim piece.

Camera is mounted to the top of the license plate. Very clean.

JBSpeed a few years back.

EAS boost gauge. Not an installation for the faint of heart.

I did use the cable. Hard to see because I ran all the wires through/inside the KUDA and under the dash.

I just put it in the center to leave room to run the wires on the inside. I could have dropped it a little to your point, but not a lot with the way I attached the Magellan bracket to the KUDA. The height is actually pretty good. In person this looks a lot cleaner than the pictures. I found a file on the GPS I think I can change to load a BMW splash screen.. smile Getting closer..

How does the Magellan use the rear view camera function? That's sick!

I saw one of these on sale on black friday but thought it was just a regular gps but HUGE.

How good is the actual GPS with this unit? I've always had Garmin, and tried Magdellan once on vacation with a rental and it was pretty bad. But this was a few years ago.

I'm about to order my unit. Hope you don't mind if I pick your brain with some questions on the install once it arrives? (mainly relating to routing the wires / power)

Subscribing for the DIY.

Again, i would contribute some green backs to get this done, if others will too - if you need that kind of motivation for the DIY? LOL

Thanks Guys!
