So what's the point of getting an intake if the Stock one is sufficient for these kind of times/traps making ~ 400-430hp @ the wheels.
HotRod, any plans to dyno your car?

for what? I'm not an auto, and im stock runflats. But i did go over 115 and under 13 seconds if it matters. Im actually in the process of taking a chance and buying the 16x7.5 k1s cause i think they MIGHT fit, its a 300 dollar chance though so im not too sure about it yet, but thats for another thread.

I drove high hp auto cars, witht he right tire on there, as shown by his speedo vids, it really is just brake boosting and flooring it. 2-3 runs and any1 here can do that in his car.

Quick question - Was the OP running 109 leaded fuel thru the stock cats ?. 120 mph on a 3500 lb car is definately over 400whp. Good job

Congrats Warren! Every time I'm thinking most of us are getting closer, you rip us a new record to put all of us back into shame. Guess I need to keep hitting the track more.

Nice job warren! Your times are no joke.

That being said, I'm still waiting to see others replicate it or even come somewhere in the same neighborhood as you with the same lack of mods.

talk is cheap... put up or shut up.

bench racing and monday morning qauterbacking is easy - untill you try to do something yourself.

imo

I think Terry might be releasing this map to a select few. Then the numbers could be replicated!!

Nice runs, I agree the car is very fast with that setup. I am sure other automatic cars with the same setup will be able to achieve similar results.

funny that terry himself jokes that warren´s times are better than his - especially considering that warren has basically no mods

how can that be possible since some people here say that there is no real driver skill involved ??

go figure ??

I posted a link to a stock 135 (similar weight to this 335 with weight removed probably) going 120mph on old maps, and some other stock 335s going 116-117. There was an X drive that just went 11.9@117 this weekend. He has more mods but maybe 300# extra weight! Like I said in another thread it comes down to the software used and I see they are making consistent improvements, if hotrod's track times are any indication!

I wonder if he could make 400rw uncorrected in 30 degree weather???

Ppl keep neglecting the little stuff that gives hotrod the results he gets. For one he's on the melter map which is around 17-18psi.2nd he's a hell of a driver to get consistant 60fts (under 2.0).3rd his car is well adapted around the MS109 when he takes it out to the track.4th,conditions are usually in his favor.and Last but not least,he had some mods to reduce his weight. It really isnt a mystery anymore..he came out himself and said it.Reason no one else is getting the same results(but come close) is for all the reasons mentioned above..and I think track prep and weather make the biggest difference. Not all of us live in areas where track conditions are favorable. Not to mention,Warren aka hotrod unlike some of us, is a crazy son of a bitch for running these maps with no support mods

His track times sure are a good indication that he is. Hell, he's running a ridiculous 17-18psi!

In other news, your "uncorrected" shenanigans were old after your very first post about it It's actually hilarious how angry the fact that I posted uncorrected and corrected numbers made you.

I would just like to know the truth about the boost level. Warran has done this multiple time on a stockish car and claims to be in the 370-380 range. Other memebers are popping 400 plus dynos left and right and trapping lower. Its just a lil wierd, cause 370 will def not hit 120 plus in the traps unless you own something thats around if not under 3000lbs. We have bob vader or the srt8 guy both running QUICK with xi's and both in the 116-117 range fully bolted. We have takeone busting out a 119-120 run on a fairly stocking car, then we have terry himself hitting 120 on a fully modded car tuned by himself, while i saw a guy with jb3 map seven on drag with bms dci/rr cattles dp and cpe catback go 12.40 @ 112.xxx. I know different track and different conditions play a huge roll, but not that huge of a roll. I can see 2-4 mph based on conditions, but have a tune only guy 121, and another go 110 if that, thats HUGE in my mind. So what makes some guys fast and other bitch about how slow they are? i dont even care about the et to be honest, im mosty a trap speed guy myself.
I agree with just about all that you are asking. I think its important for everyone to know what other drivers are running and what mods they are using to get those traps. In hotrod's case it has to be a) more boost than anyone else on as high of octane as possible b) less weight c) good traction d) good driver

he is not running supporting mods at all, so there is only one way he is going to make more power, crank up the boost....a ton. He's obviously ok with that so more power to him. I was I guess too chicken shit to crank up boost that far even with every supporting mod available. Highest I ever recorded at the track on race gas was 16.1psi, and that ended in a limp at the 3rd -> 4th shift running JBx...later found a boost leak which probably caused it.

I for one cant wait to see other 335's and 135's, hell even a 535 running these kind of traps more often. I hope the n54 keeps kickin ass for a long long time.

and HAPPY EASTER
