Putting snow tires to replace RFT's on RFT's rims..will this work? have summer rims

Hey, I just bought a 2010 335i sedan and am waiting for delivery..I checked the website and I think my car comes with RFT's..I dont have sport or M package..I bought rims and tires for the summer..My question is can i buy good snow tires and put them on the run flat rims for the winter...I want to get rid of the RFT's because everyone says they r a pain...Also since i will have 2 sets of rims/tires should i buy seperate tpms sensors so I'll have them on both rims..thx

Why wouldn't you be able to? Go with the Blizzaks or the Wintersport 3D's. I didn't buy a second sensor set because I already check my tire pressure all the time (I cruise 120 mph to work everyday). Just get used to seeing that low tire pressure indicator. Not worth the $$ IMO.

Yes you can. I replace my bridgestone RFT with the Michlens Primacy's. Great smoothe ride and traction

Are these the factory sport wheels that are staggered 18"? If so you can use 225/40R18 on both the front 8" wheels and the rear 8.5" OE wheels with no problem. This is actually very common to do. Eliminating the stagger in this way works very well for winter and results in better winter traction.

Yes, unless you wish to ignore the dash light, you'll need another set of TPMS sensors.
