What type of 17" wheel for track/autox?
Hi all,
I have a E92 with sport. After taking the $$$$ RFT to autox for once, I put my old K1 with Falken for another Autox. I had these K1 for a couple of years for Autox. They are cheap and light for my light and cheap pocket. The K1's are 8.5 wheels with 40ET. The Falken site listed these 245/45R17 RT615 with 9.6" section width. Please see the attachment for the clearance after putting them up on the front. I drove them at one Autox event without notice anything. 1. Is this too close? 2. What 17" or 18" wheel would you recommend? Basically I "WISH" to get some fat tires all around. 3. worth to try 3 or 5mm spacer? (there's probably not much room outside either) Thanks Billy
