I honestly thought I was simply stating the facts. My first post was to comment on the options related to the hfs-3, as its not highly discussed on these forums, where the OP can readily find info on your system, where it has been recieved very well. My second post, recommended your kit. My third and fourth post simply noted that all in, if you went with flash/procede + the hfs-3 kit or a procede + a hfs3/Vishnu kit, you would spend roughly the same. In no way was I questioning the value. You pay the same and you get a car with a tune and a meth kit. I didn’t comment on which one will run better or not. As you noted, I have not tried both kits and can't speak to it. If you want I can add my opinion, but like everything on these forums, it should be taken at the value of a random poster on a random thread. Edit: I also edited my above post to add clarification to my comments. Last edited by mithiral67; 07-30-2011 at 03:37 PM.. |

You are paying for: 1) a fully integrated SOLUTION with the Tune (in this case Procede) 2) engineered for the car 3) design and tested charge pipe 4) R&D for proper sized meth bungs for the car 5) full install documentation 6) R&D of months/years 7) integration with traction control and autotuning (hopefully coming soon) 8) integration with fully adjustable settings for various customers with differnent bolt on configuration 9) integration with indication on dash lights 10) out of meth indication on dash 11) integration and R&D with RB and upgraded turbos 12) the cost of support - which I just experienced and is phenomenally good. There are lots of other solutions out there - and if I wanted to go to another solution, Jeff at Top Gear is where I would go. What I didn't want to do was to go and figure all this out for myself. What jets to use, what tank to use (trunk or hood), wrapping lines in sheilding cause they may break/leak flammable liquid.... figure out what failsafe to use, how to integrate into my tune, Most important - after I spend a whack of money, how to get support from multiple vendors to get the solution to work 100% on my $60,000 dollar vehicle. If that is for you, and it floats your boat - you're better than me and hats off. I think you may save $300 or $500 bucks. To me, the savings wasn't worth the list of benefits above - but that is me.

Ok after reading all the posts within this thread, I have a question/scenario for you guys....
I'm currently running the Stett CP with 2 meth bungs. I want to keep this setup, and want a HFS-3 kit because of the PWM nozzles. I heard that the PWM nozzles will not fit the Stett CP? So what are my options then? Don't mean to TJ, but I just don't feel like it's important enough to start another thread.... TIA
