would not count on it! BMW offers it only on the M model, already for years. Putting it now on the 335Is would make it come real close the M3. It was also nowhere written.

I have an early(September 2006 build) 2007 6MT and I'm told that mine should be bolted, are you sure yours is welded?

Yours is bolted for sure regardless of transmission type.

is the m3 pumpkin direct bolt on to 335i? especially the M3 DCT diff, which has FD ratio of 3.15 IIRC which is perfect for my manual IMO...if M3 DCT diff is direct bolt on I would definitely try to find a used one

You will need to use the M3 subframe as well.

I don't know anyone who has done it so I can't provide details on this conversion. The very least you will need is the M final drive and subframe.

You are better off installing a Quaife or Wavetrac in your 335i.

As soon as we get our hands on a 2011 335iS we will be fitting it with a Quaife or Wavetrac LSD unit(Machine work will be needed I am sure).

Soon after installation we will have an exchange program in place.

There aren't any shortcuts or price cuts to do the LSD if you are welded. All options cost lots of $. That said, Harold offers the most reasonable options. His customer service is top notch!

My quaife final drive unit has been a spectacular upgrade!
