There are damn nice!
I love how the bottom is made of one piece aluminium! Not to mention the new trackpad!
GENIUS!

I would love to upgrade, but would wait for the 17".

On the Christmas list for Santa

Don't understand why they didn't include a Bluray drive!! I have HDV video waiting to be edited on a Mac but want to burn and play the results in HD. Been waiting two years for this upgrade.

Now the new model Macbook is off my list. No firewire port for transferring video from my Sony HDV camera

Looks like an incremental hardware upgrade with a snazzier (thinner) but wider and deeper case. Looks pretty enough (OK visually very stylish) but hardly revolutionary on the hardware front.

That new trackpad thingummy might be good, could only really tell by playing with it.

Well

Like to upgrade but really not sure which one to go for.

So many forum and so many different views...

Anyway, got my appointment booked at the Apple Store on Monday and will see for myself.

The problem with the new Pro models, in 15" anyway, is they have the crap keyboard from the imac/macbook.
