Is it an apple supplied sim free phone or a contract upgrade?
Do you have receipt?
I'd be interested only if it's a sim free phone and I'd only offer £300.
Not worth any more than that to me, I can buy a new one from Apple and offset it against tax.

Sorry OP but nobody will be willing to risk buying a pricey phone from a forum member with only 13 posts when they can buy brand new direct from Apple for only £25 more.

You haven't even gone to the effort of posting a picture!

Apple supplied sim free with receipt. Not worth £300 when being sold for £500 by apple, there is no difference between this and one bought right now from apple, so why then a difference of £200?

I wouldnt call it 'gone to the effort of posting a pic..', i'll add one once time allows me to.
This is also brand new and was direct from apple. I am open to offers. I may have only 13 posts here but i have good history elsewhere for example ebay. If serious buyer needs further evidence i can provide it.

I had it up for £530 (not 590) not realising how much apple is selling it for. You pointed it out and i took a look, and therefore reduced the price.

Prices have fallen for now older models (i5, 5c) with the release of the i6 today. Unfortunately, bad timing and with like any new gadgets older models are instantly worth less.

It makes me laugh when people on eBay are trying to sell their items more or less the same price as you can buy in the shops or online. People need to price realistically in the marketplace. It's also funny when people get into a bidding war and pay well over the odds without doing any research and finding out later they could of got cheaper in the shops with some reassurance of a guarantee and comeback !!

OP probably need to reassess asking price.

This is the 5S, so just 1 model old. Price reduced to £400. Thats a solid £100 less than apple.

If I buy from Apple through my business I can offset against tax, and also I'm vat registered so in real terms, their £500 would cost me not a lot more than £300, hence my valuation .
It's true value is probably about £350, that's what they are fetching on avforum

Op is allowed to price his item and what is not fair is telling Op how you can buy it via your company and claiming tax back etc?

what are you scheming i wonder?

If you aren't interested in buying then i think you offered more than enough to help the OP.

Op Adjusted his price almost 20% off, people normally sell unwanted upgrade on ebay for 20-30% retail price. if you are interested then make him an offer via pm. Stop slating people's sales.

If you took the time time to read entire thread, you'd notice I made an offer, this indicates I'm the only person who has made any positive interest in buying the phone .
I was pointing out how I came to my valuation, no scheming ,I'm not sure what your insinuating or even if you understand anything I said, and frankly I don't care.

Vat is only £83.17 on the one apple is selling for £499. So this would cost you £416 + hassle of claiming vat, if you bought it from apple and did the vat thing you're talking about. Thats quite a bit more than your valuation.

Please could you kindly send me a link of a similar one being sold for £350 ok avforums. Thanks
