For Those That Have A Fire Extinguisher... What Size / Brand?

I was just curious what fire extinguisher setup you guys are running? I have heard good things about the H3R and Safecraft fire extinguishers, but I am not sure what size fits? Thanks in advance.

Fit where? Try VAC Motorsports or OG Racing for good Halon extinguishers for auto use. I think VAC makes brackets for the E9x that go under the front seat bolts.

I got the OEM bracket that BMW makes from ECS. It fits beautifully!

I just don't want a nasty red fire extinguisher sitting under my seat. I know that sounds dumb, but I feel I have done the car right to this point and I want to keep it clean.

I used the OEM under the driver's seat so I don't have to worry about my wife kicking it with her heels or anything like that.

When did you get it? I placed an order from Tischer about 6 weeks ago and they said the bracket was discontinued:

It is like most forums. You need to make an account and sign in. It shows some really nice looking options and mounted under passenger seat.

So you are comfortable with only a 1 kg fire extinguisher? That is my real decision now... 1 kg or 2.5 kg.

Tischer cannot order the bracket as the item is not available via BMW USA, they emailed me a few months ago when I ordered it off their website. ECS was out of stock when I looked last month. I was going down the custom adapter path for the passenger seat but if you have something better I'm interested! I'll ask VAC for the e9x adapter too as per James' post above.

Why no go OEM with H3R? Are you going 1 kg or 2.5 kg? I am trying to figure out if the 2.5 kg fits.
