I hope I don't get banned, but this is what Terry's reply to Shiv:

Given the bucket position in the tank I concluded it's worth testing without the venturi pickup with the flapper simply floating. It seemed to me it was an unnecessary piece that isn't normally required in other similar fuel tanks. Now if low fuel levels present an issue then the next step is to reconnect the venturi to the new pump which seems easy enough. As it sits I've run it down to around 2.5 gallons so far with no issues.

Also for the record, there is nothing for sale here, nor are there any plans to offer anything for sale. Simply public testing of a possible in tank fuel pump solution. Should we not be able to make this work then I agree an inline pump as you are geared up to sell would be the next best choice. I've stated that from day one. But it's just such a hack I figured it was worth trying to do this the right way first.
PLEASE DON'T BAN ME! PLEASE I like it here!

Seems as you are full of hate towards the other side. I'm new here I don't know whats the BEEF between you two, but your comment seems unethical to me.

And by the way, he wasn't selling anything. Just testing and sharing with everyone. It is call transparency and customer service, something your company may need to learn.

Just saying.

+1 also considering the other posts on the OTHER forum this pump has been tested seems to work ok(pressure loss up top like oem pump) although there is some small changes that need to be done... but anyways terry is making this a DIY which is awesome

Yea I know lol I was just messing around. We gotta keep in mind too if the bucket goes too low the pump starts to overheat as well. I ran into this same issue with my Turbo V8s in the past too. Some guys ended up drilling holes in their bucket and some ended up going with New Tanks.

This post is turning in to a flame war... who cares about the beef between Shiv and Terry?

Sure the pump may be working "just fine", some of us don't want "just fine"... you know what else was "just fine"? The WW Meth kit that all these guys were selling, that worked "just fine" too until our cars started catching on fire (me included).

Obama thinks he's doing "just fine" and look where it's gotten us.

Seriously? Are you advocating decency by telling us not to make this into a tuner war by turning it into a political discussion?

Buy the inline pump!
-Mitt Romney approves this message

JK guys

But in all seriousness I'm wondering how hard it is to gain access to the in-tank pump... Is there an access cover inside the the car???

Considering the fact that you're new here, you should probably do a little more research rather than parrotting disrespectful and baseless accusations from the other forum.

We might have the same avatar, but we certainly don't share the same politics.

You bring up valid points, but he's not selling anything and doesn't plan to sell this, just reporting his findings

I remember building triple pumps for the Terminator croud to get the fuel needed. Same with the 5.4 SHelbys, 3 Ford Focus pumps and bam enough fuel for 1000hp. I see this system is similar I just need to pull one out to help.

Now if I can find someone to build a log intake manifold with Fuel injector bosses.

Why not just run an inline walbro on top of this pump? I did something very simliar with our Evo. For drivability reasons we used a hobb switch and kicked on the second pump at 10psi and down low the car ran perfect because it was on 1 pump.
