Thinking of a 325d Msport

started doing a lot of miles latley and need a fastish comfy mile muncher.

the 325d is 3k cheaper than the 330d so im thinking a remap will push it to about 260ish? and i dont need ultimate performance or id buy a 335d, but i do want to have some get up and go.

Can the new LCI models be remapped??

They are still not cheap with the spec i want its £40790.00 before discount. Is 14% still achievable. or am i dreaming?

Steve.

Fack knows Steve from here BUT if I were you I'd get a used 330d, remap it myself and happy days. But then again I'm not as BALLIN' as you (Fair enough though it probably wouldn't be an LCI)

BTW have you still got your M6 or you still riding in your Audi?

Im rolling in my RS4 and the mrs has the ML.

i understand about the 330d as a second hand choice but this is purely a business vehicle and i want free servicing in the package as well as an unlimited mileage 3 yr warranty for peace of mind.

and my weeknd car when i eventually choose it will most def be BALLIN.

You are still young my little padawan, ballin you have time for.

Hows the weights? im currently low carbing and the weights are getting harder to push.

Ive had a 325d and 330d, both standard then remapped

The remapped 325d is a very nice car, but still felt a tad slower than the standard 330d - the 330d has more wallop. Remapped the 330d is a monster, far far quicker than the remapped 325d

As I said its still a very nice car, but the 330d is better enough to warrant the extra IMO

Looks like a discount of 13.5% on the car, but they don't discount options.

So to check the RS4 would be going? Are you going to miss the power if you go for a 325d? Not that its under powered but its no RS4

Are you getting a manual or auto Steve ? If its auto, I`d stretch the budget to a 330d as the 325d has the lower torque rated auto.

If your going manual the 325d can be mapped to 270+ and if it goes bang, you have the warranty to fall back on.

My 325d was a good car, not the most exciting but for your business use it`ll be a nice choice.

Rs4 will go yes. TBH i cant bear the thought on putting 25k miles a year on it. Its a great great car the RS4 but its replacement ( not the repmobile) when i get it will make up for the pain i feel at the mo.

Coast 2 Coast is working out about 15.5% but this will have the £1,750 that BMW are putting into the cars included in the discount.

Also 5 years service is £300.

You just missed a cheap 335d.....

A member Kai, has a highly tuned 325d Now with over 275HP. (Removal of DPF, exhaust, filter and custom re-map)

He with 245-250HP did a 14.3@97mph, That is quicker than standard 330d (Just)

That is just a re-map on a 325d.
