Eibach Pro Kit + Lowering Perches
I have seen quite a few people request pictures and information about this but I haven't seen many answers. Since I did this today I figured I would post a picture.
Before: After: I know that the rear is still high. I haven't installed the rear springs yet. That is a project for tomorrow. Last edited by gtaccord; 05-11-2013 at 02:58 PM.. |

Did you change shocks or just springs?
19" wheels? Were you on the stock sport suspension in that first pic? I'm getting some 19s and trying to decide on a drop for later this year. Thanks for any info. |

I installed BMW Performance Suspension Version 1 (struts and shocks only) along with the Eibach ProKits and front lowering perches.
The first pic is stock sport suspension with front lowering perches (front lowered by ~0.4 inches) The wheels are 19s. |

I also got an alignment yesterday. Factory specs on the toe, -1 camber on the front and -2 camber on the rear. I will post a review of the whole package in a couple of weeks after I have had some time on the road.

I cannot seem to find anything else about the EPK/SP perch combo, picture-wise, besides this thread. I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to post these pictures, but is there any way you could take some pictures in direct light on an even surface rather than a slanting driveway? These are the same style wheels I want and I'd like to do the FSD/EPK/SP perch combo, but I can't decide if the front would be too low. Thanks!

Unfortunately the car was totaled a few months ago so no more pictures. In the end I did feel that the front was a little too low mostly because I was trying to run spacers. I also started to have problems with tire wear because it was too low to get the alignment specs perfect without camber plates or something like that.

Fronts were 19 x 8.5 +40, Rears were 19 x 9.5 +33. I eventually got 10 mm spacers for the front and 5 for the rear but I am not sure if these pics were with or without spacers. Pretty sure they were without.

Hey man, did you buy new 335i strut mounts?
My question would be if you bought new mounts, did it take any time for them to "break in" and actually give the car the 1/2" drop? |

By strut mounts do you mean the lowering perches?

I was under the impression that you had to buy new strut mounts for the 335i to make these perches work with the xi? Did you need to buy the strut mounts to make these work?

Oh ok I understand. The blue car in the pictures is a 335i (my old car) which I lost in an accident. This is the car that had the lowering perches. The car in my profile is my new car which is an xi which does not have the lowering perches installed.
