It won't do anything really.... For one, it will not affect warranty whatsoever. It does not affect any sort of mechanical or performance aspect.
It's like getting tints, cosmetics modifications will be the same. Some cars have rims, some black roof. If anything it can be reversed. It should be no big deal. Not like getting new brakes, or coilovers. I'd say do it.

It should be $200 for tips give or take. $100 for install give or take.. Depending on what diffuser you want it can be $200-$600....

my car is not a lease, so i am was happy to mod away.
with that said, i have the bms downpipe and recently purchased the arkym quad diffuser with cyba black chrome quad tips. i do not know how the fitment is with other brand tips or diffusers, but with my combination, i had to cut off the stock tips real close to the muffler, thus removing the exhaust flap (vaccuum line) and welding in some new pipping off the stock muffler to get the cyba tips to fit correctly in the diffuser and sit flush. the answer to you question in my case is that my vaccuum line had to be cut, which may not be to great having a leased car. this looks sick. a friend of mine removed his mufflers and just had straight piping done and man that fucker is loud as a mother. i feel the extra pull even though people say it wont make a difference by removing the mufflers.
