FL e91 SOS call system failure
Hey,
My vin is : WBAUX51020A546444 Problem: I have active SOS call system failure + AUX volume is stuck at 0 + Bluetooth option wont load. Requierments: I would like to disable SOS thing overall and get back AUX and Bluetooth capabilities. Possible solution?: I found video from 3 years ago that shoed to delete 612 from VO, is it correct way to do this? Other way would be to find the sos battery and swap it out? |

So i just went for it, but either i did something wrong or this just didn't work. Cannot see 612 in VO anymore but SOS error is still there and aux Bluetooth don't work. I ordered the LOOP to bypass this telephone module, hope this fixes all my MOST related errors.
Should my aux and Bluetooth capabilities come back also with Loop fix? |

You are starting out with messing with software when it's the Hardware you
have to understand first. Depending on the year of the car and the options Aux and bluetooth can come from different modules. In the first years of the e90 only the TCU controlled bluetooth phone and SOS In 2007 they added the mulf 2 module to handle USB and Aux. You often get both a TCU and Mulf 2 high in this year and the usb is enabled with the 6fl option and both the usb and aux come from the mulf 2 In later years these funtions where all taken car of through the combox. You need to find out which hardware modules you have to cover SOS and aux bluetooth first. Don't know if that's the way it works in Europe though . Stuff can differ between continents. Running and option list with mdecoder.com would be a good start. Then looking at which modules you have . |

Thanks for the reply, added the list. I believe my car has mulf2 and tcu , I also added the errors i got.
I dont have aux in the middle ( using adapter usbc - aux on my s22 ultra ) Bluetooth just keeps loading, when i press telephone in the middle. I'm checking the modules when I get my car back from shop. |

FYI you don't need a TCU. At least you don't need a tcu in the US because BMW doesn't support SOS here do to the discontinuation of 2g |

If you want to connect your phone over Bluetooth you will need either TCU or Mulf high with the BT antenna or Combox (you will be able to stream music as well)
SOS failure can be coded out Quote:

So finally figured how to code out SOS error. Added LOOP into TCU light cable and unplugged TCU also replaced MULF HIGH, had opportunity to get the same one with same codes etc.
Swapped it, AUX fixed itself but Bluetooth is still stuck in Please Wait, I think i need to reset ULF now with ISTA to get Bluetooth back. |
