Ok, Tustin is just north of my office and actually on the way so this will work out nicely.

Are you guys going to take the 241 toll road? Seems like it's the best shot at missing traffic.

By teh way, I drive slow so I might not keep up with the pack but that's cool.

How much RWHP are you making now? Someone is bringing the first n54 single turbo conversion so that may be a good run for you.
On an average Dynojet, my car is currently making 475whp/435wtq SAE corrected. I think I've already got my hands full with Terry's 135i, let alone the new n54 single turbo conversion car.

I'm willing to run anybody at any speed, so just let me know what you feel most comfortable doing. I'm sure your car will do quite well. Can't wait!!!

I think the OC caravan will be taking the 55-91-15-395

I'll be heading the LA caravan which will be taking the 14 up and over. Unfortunately we can't meet the caravans without one group having to go out of their way.

Don't worry about cruising slow, we plan to do the same. Too many cops camp out on the 14 and 395, but there will always be some troublemakers who can't wait until saturday to do runs. No fun getting a ticket on your way to the airstrip event!

Wow did you do that dyno in Las Vegas? I heard that the elevation affects us when our stock turbo's are maxed out. It certainly was the case at Willow where our cars suffered at the upper RPMs just like the NA cars...but torque in the mid-range was unaffected. The airstrip is 1,700 feet so maybe that's even lower than Vegas and your car will love that.

ok hopefully the 91 won't be a parking lot. It's a risk if we leave later than 1pm.

By the way guys, we are working with bimmerpost to do a bimmerpost video of all BMW-related runs. We will have a laptop there and will be uploading your footage. We will just be copying your go pro footage off your SD card (not deleting anything) if you bring it to us of course. So if you guys want to be in the bimmerpost official videos, please be sure to let us upload your footage between runs!

Vegas is 2015 ft. Trona Airport is 1717 ft. 300 ft difference will help but will be hardly noticeable. Now me going from sea level to 1700ft that is going to suck hahaha

So you are already at 450/500 to the wheels at 2,000ft elevation and now you are also going to delete the secondaries? You're gonna fly!

You should run me then. I'm only light bolt on, full weight + heavy 19" wheels.

Its going to be a great time, Terry's 135 will be subject to the same issues all of our Stock turbo cars have being maxed out on boost and turbo efficiency at an elevation that high we run out of breath like the NA cars. Should be a good car to run against my guess is will be very similar in outcome to my car running you. Running the N54 motor up at elevation against the Big C63 motor is not the same as running at Sea Level against us. Your car will run great cant wait for Friday
