Prestige Vehicle is excellent indy. Always had excellent work done by them. Nick (owner) is brilliant chap. Many other forum members have tried them and are satisfied with their work and rates.

When Nick told me £80, I thought it was a bargain.

Ended up doing it myself, as so many things were on the list such as egr valve cleaning and filter change.

Forgot to add that M3 steering wheel has been fitted as well.

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=1&theater

I do not know why people say that it is thicker compared to M sports. It is NOT.
It is soft, thinner and IMHO not as good as m sports. The only reason I kept it was due to paddle shifters.

Hallelujah! I've had this debate with others, not worth upgrading from MSport unless you've sourced one at a bargain price, as you said it's just softer leather with different coloured stitching.

If I was to do it again, I would simply add new DCT paddle shifters on M sports steering wheel.

I had 225/35/19 and 265/30/19 last time and they were perfect.

Will look at it whether I should go for 225 or 235 at the front.

Thanks for your suggestion.

On my last E90, I used M3 OEM leds and red needles from bimman. No paint used....
It was a good mod.

Since everybody is going for cheap white led conversion as it cost nothing compared to quality leds and work, therefore this time I thought to do a different thing.

Here is what I had to play with
OEM Speedometer vs Alpina Speedometer (modified to have M3 rings)

And 90 minutes later....

Night time photo is nothing like what it looks in reality. It is so much better when you sit in the car and see it in real life.

I went for Alpina speedometer due to sleek dials, slim font and red needles. Not a cheap mod, but worth of every penny as you see that speedometer every single day multiple times!

Nice dials. Where did you get them from and how hard to install?

I have a pre LCI 330 e92... Can you put a new (second hand) steering wheel with new padals on it? Its a msport already but steering wheel is a little worn and do like the stitching...

I bought used alpina speedometer and transplanted it to my car.

re: Steering wheel, try to retain the steering wheel buttons from your current steering wheel to new one. And use the steering wheel and paddle from the new steering wheel and IMHO it should work. That is how it worked on my car.

If it does not, then you need slight modification done to new pedals. The link is floating somewhere on the net.

that alpina cluster looks great! How did you get the milage synced? I swapped mine for a 335 one so i have the temp gauge. It physically works but the service info etc obviously doesn't. Did you code yours ?

edit: the mileage came up correct but had the red dot. Also threw up an mileage discrepancy in diagnostic !

And that is why I retained the board of my original car and rest from alpina.
So I have retained my original board but the skin, dials, needles are from Alpina.

I see. I'm assuming the engine temp boards are different to the swingometer ones therefore it won't be possible to fit 335i cluster to a 330 unless the cluster is new from BMW.

335's only has oil temp gauge not coolant . Most e90's doesn't have oil temp sensors, that's why it doesn't work in your car .

Well that's wrong for starters as all needles (including temperature needle) do work in my car. I'm trying to find out whether it's possible to code the cluster that isn't new

You need to change a chip on M3 cluster to make it virgin and then write your car vin and further details on it. Some eastern European guys charge approx 400-600 euro for M3 cluster supplied and fitted to your car.
Expensive mod to get the oil temperature though.

Your car looks great mate. Especially after your dropped it.

I have contacted German sellers and all of them are out of stock.

Thanks Rudz. Ordered autosol.

Rudz, do you remember that we found pre-LCI 1M bumper for E90/91?
Any idea where was that?

Cheers. Any photos of your car. DP is very small and cannot see it.

Completely agreed. Pre-LCI lights are no good at all except the OEM darklines.

I think they are matt pipes. Or it might be that they were never clean. Will check over the weekend.

Thanks for the suggestions so far. Excellent ideas.

Personally I do not like the black wheels, but I had White E93 (check my facebook page) with black wheels and Black M3 with black wheels (matt black) and both changed my mind TBH.

You loose the definition from the distance, but if the car is parked, they looked great.

Check these....

That concavity at the rear is killer!
Hello There
To give you an idea how Sparkling Graphite and Matt Black Wheels looks like, here is mine with VMR VB03's in matt Black:

Matt black does look sinister but too dark for me as some of the detail of the wheel can appear to be lost. Half way house perhaps!

Matt textured gunmetal(looks slightly darker in the flesh but is light and everything is visible and at least this way you see more wheel detail as for example 313's are a sweet looking wheel and it'll be a shame to hide their beauty hence the 230's on mine being done this way as you can still make out the wheel design which in 230's done in black can be lost IMO.

Nice one. Looks aggressive.
Where did you get the LCI M3 replica bumper?

I am after 1M LCI bumper for E90/91 but if I can't get that, then this might be the way to go.
