3gt review

http://www.whatcar.com/car-news/2013...e2a_headline_1

it implies the handling is not that good. seems unlikely to be much worse than a touring, surely, CofG difference must be minor.

I'd probably like it too. Then again I like the 5GT.

No problems with the way the Touring handles here; in fact no different to that of my e90 saloon.

I think it's a smarter car than the tourer. More storage and more practical. Ugly but so is the tourer in my humble opinion!!!!

Not sure about it being more practical than a tourer.

What often gets overlooked when people talk about boot capacity is the shape of the storage. Something like the 3GT is great if you carry stuff that can be moulded to fit with the sloping tail gate. For me there is nothing more practical than a tourer/estate or even a hatchback. I'm not sure why this is but i often find myself transporting large boxy things (not always in boxes) which is partly why I found my e90 so frustrating. Big boot capacity but not enough height.

Never liked the look of the 5GT, and cant say the 3GT appeals to me either.

Especially as the Touring looks so good!

Could this make a good used buy if no one likes them and values dive? The 5GT is a quite cheap second hand I believe?

It may well be a good used buy pricewise but driving a car with a brown paper bag over your head is a) dangerous and B) illegal
