FBO + Meth Dyno Results

Hello All,

I was able to get my car on a dyno over the weekend. I am happy with these numbers! Not done with tuning it.

Max Hp: 434
Max Tq: 479

Running 65 add on Meth

Special Thanks to Terry@BMS and JSTuning JBC!

Great numbers, where did you dyno your car?
Oh, and what were your baseline numbers from Neetronics last year?

Hows the JB4 and Cobb running together? Well?

I always wanted to add JB4 to my cobb but was scared of having 2 tunes running at same time.. what kinda maps your running?

Hey,

my signature might have gotten you confused. Right now I am JB4 only, but waiting on Cobb and the G5 board to come in.

It's safe to run both and needed if you are going to upgrade to bigger turbos.

I must have been anywhere between 18.5-19 psi. I did a 75 add run before I did the 65 add. 75 add is a bit aggressive for my car and I was doing 19psi on that in my jb4 logs. Wasn't able to log the 65 add.

Octane was 91 (no race fuel)
Ambient temp - 70.63 F

Are you sure the ambient temp was 70.63F? What did you measure that with? No temp. sensor in the car or the measuring system is accurate to 0.01 degrees or even to 0.1 degrees, because the resolution of the sensor and measuring system is most likely only 0.5 degrees.

At the bottom of the screen shot it says "Run Conditions: 70.63 F". To be honest I am not sure how the shop measures that. I just saw it on the dyno print out. Unless I'm mistaken for what 12beat means.

I think the dyno's a bit optimistic but sounds about right with 19psi boost range. Ambient temps seem around ~21c. I'm not familiar with JS...maybe they have some way of eeking out a bit more power. Kudos on the numbers. Mext time use 94.

You guys should try a pro tune with Cobb. No need for a JB4 at all, my car is a total beast since getting it pro tuned. I tried a JB4 before and it was nowhere as smooth or powerful as getting a pro tune. I need a meth kit though like yesterday!

Thanks!

Ah crap i made a mistake and didn't event notice it. I used 94 not 91. It might help to note that my jb4 is modded. It has a 12 ohm inside it.
