Can't wait to see some real photos of it and see it in person. I personally prefer a little deeper of a red, Electric Red is a little too orangey-bright for me.

Crimson is the same shade just very slightly lighter than Imola Red.

If those are updated shots... does that mean that the configurator has released the Montego blue shots as well? :]

Isn't Crimson also a metallic paint whereas Imola is not?

I found out they are replacing electric red on the e90 for this color as well.

My crimson red 335i is on the Franconia, scheduled to port in Charleston S.C.
around Sept. 28.
I believe that this color is closer to imola red rather than electric red.
Hopefully someone will post an actual picture soon.

hmmm, i think as it is closer to Imola, it looks more prestige, closer to electric, more sporty

hard for me 2 say which i prefer, but maybe its the Imola

That's so funny! We have an E46 and E90 that are both Electric Red and we get nothing but positive comments about them no matter where we are...probably because you don't see that color as often as TiAG? In any event, the only negative comments I've ever heard or read about have come from...other BMW owners Go figure.

Electric red really flatters the E90, in my opinion. I think an E90 330i in red is sexy as hell.

The E46 sedan... not so much.

Has anyone taken delivery of a red (exterior) coupe yet? I haven't actually seen a real life picture of one yet. I liked the Imola, but the red on the sedan is, as Nikki says, too orange-y for my taste. I am hoping that it is more like the imola but haven't seen one yet besides what I see on bmwusa, which isn't always that accurate. I wanted someones opinion as well as pics.

I'll have mine in 2 or 3 weeks (its on the Patriot) and will post then. The sooner the better though, so if someone has one before then post some photos.
