Rep M3 Bumper

Hey,

I just took delivery of a replica bumper for my pre-LCI e90 (320d). It's in the body shop at the moment, but I just got a call to say that the SE fog lights don't fit into the grills supplied and they won't be able to fit it without the right fog lights.

Could anybody please tell me what make/model of fogs I'd need for this bumper: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2308672051...84.m1497.l2649

Will they be standard M3 size? If I can find out, I'm gonna call a few AutoFactors and see if I get lucky. I really want the bumper swapped out today as it's a nightmare to transport to and from the body shop.

I'd REALLY appreciate any help you could offer,

Here is my install of the exact same bumper.

You will need the Msport fogs. They are the same as on the e60 5 series

You will also need the appropriate plug (link in the post)

wow that's a bit steep for that bumper? or did they increase the price to stop people ordering??

and m3s don't come with fogs so the dealer wouldn't have them lol

The price tends to fly up after he clears his stock, then drops again when he has stock again... odd, but just seems to be the way it is.

I paid £243 including painting and delivery

Yeah...nI can assure you I did not pay that price! It cost me €316 painted and delivered. The quality is very very good on the bumper, but I think the paint may be just a tiny bit thin to be honest.

see my comment above about stock and price...

I would agree the paint is a touch thin... but for £30 odd quid it is value for money!

Big time! Just got the call from the body shop...I went ahead and had it fitted minus the fogs as a temporary measure. He says it looks excellent and would put the paint match at well about 90% (which is good considering the car is 8 years old now!)

I'm grabbing one of these from this seller once they have stock again. I have all the parts (fogs, cables) ready!

I messaged them earlier in the month as the day I was going to buy one the price shot up to 1K!! I just missed the boat

As Boon says, they increase price so they keep the listing until new stock comes in - no-one in their right mind would buy it for that!

The lip looks BRILLIANT! I'd love for them to start doing a nice rear bumper. My heart is broken trying to find something nice (and reasonably priced) for the e90.
