help changing from rft to non rft for msport suspension

Hello to all,

i have been thinking lately about changing to non run flats for my car. i have the 239 alloys (19") with 225 35 19 (front) and 255 30 19 (rear). could someone pls let me know if it is advisable to hav non rft's on rear and rft's on fronts. the reason for this is that my rears will be replaced before the fronts so i wanted to check if this could cause any problems with handling or safety etc as i have the msport suspension.

i would also be very grateful if someone with a 335 msport conv who has changed to non rft can pls give me some feedback as to what make of tyres i should consider fitting and any comments on ride comfort, handling etc etc as i do find the ride a bit hard at times and not sure if that is down to the car having rft's or the stiffer suspension.

finally (apologies for all the questions) if i do change to non rft's am i right in saying all i need is a compressor and some tyre sealant from bmw or is there some alternative out there that would do just as good a job.

I would like to thank in advance all those members who hopefully will take the time out to help me in answering these questions.

I haven't done it but there are alot of members on here who have and they say its a positive change with much better ride.

only thing i will say and i think i'm right you shouldn't mix RFT tyres with Non RFT all 4 should be the same! You will also need a couple of cans of tyre weld for when you get a puncture plus a compressor but you don't have to get them from BMW, someone on here will recommend some products.

same as above really you can mix brands eg bridgestones on the back, and mich's on the front, but dont mix non rft with rft's, i would change all four and keep your tyres as spare as some bmw dealers dont like them changed when px, well my dealer said that anyone came in, they would have to be changed back,
but on the plus side they ment to be much better some of the members on here have put falkens on and had good feedback on them

if you decide to go with continental 3's i have 2 255/30/19 done about 50 miles for 380 if of any interest
