Another M3 wishbone install question
Happy New Year folks. I finally installed my M3 wishbones on my '07 328i. They were a tight fit but I figured them out. Was able adjust back the toe afterward, now the car rides great.
I have a question about the headlight adjustment arm, when retrofitting to a non-M. How does the adjustment arm connect to the wishbone? I threaded one end of the adjustment arm through the small hole protruding from the wishbone, and temporarily fastened it with a small nut. Not sure this is correct since my car's standard headlight adjustment arm connects to a bracket that clips to the wishbone. Any comments, pics or other guidance is appreciated. |

Whoever you got the arms from should have supplied you with an M3-style headlight adjustment arm. If not, then you can get one from the dealer.

For the stock 3 series setup, the stock headlight adjustment arm connects to a small bracket and the bracket clips to the stock wishbone arm. For the M3 wishbone arm, there is a small eyelet on the M3 wishbone arm, and I've temporarily fastened the new M3 headlight adjustment arm to the M3 wishbone arm eyelet with a small nut. I'm wondering if I did this correctly or if there's a different way of attaching. |

Very impressed with the wishbones. Great improvement in steering feel. Nice upgrade even for a DD. |
