winter tyres for those wheels...

hi

wonder to use those wheels for winter using so what tyres i should run in winter on those wheels best? wheels data base:

priekis : 8Jx18 ET: 34 189 diz
galas: 81/2Jx18 ET: 37 189 d

was using for summer front: 8Jx18 225/40b 88W Michelin Pilot Sport 2 ZP, rear: 8, 5Jx18 255/35 90W Michelin Pilot Sport 2 ZP

Don't know crap about winter tires first hand, but I've seen Blizzak tires around here a lot. Try looking into those.

Don't go for looks in the winter time. Winter tires should be narrow to make it safely thru the snow. So as was mentioned before 225/40/18 at all four corners is the way to go.

I did 225/45/17 on my staggered 17" wheels. It's hard to find 255/40/17 or 255/35/18 snow tires.

I run a staggered winter setup (225-40-18F 255-40-18R B.Blizzak LM60) and I have no problems driving and having fun in snow.

You can either run a 225/40/18 square on those or a 225 front and a 255 rear. Both will work without a problem.

okay bought 225/40 all around on those mentioned rims in previuos posts does it matter which rims i put in front and in rear cos tyres for winter will be all around 225/40 but.i saw that rims specs are different in front 8Jx18 ET:34 189 diz and in rear 81/2Jx18 ET:37 189 d question is wont it be bad that i mix rims and put those that i been using for summer 225 in rear and those 255 in front or it doesnt matter all matters in tyres?

Put the wider ones in the rear. I don't think you would notice anything "bad" happen to your car by putting wider wheels in the front though.
