The update is beneficial for the procede correct. I only boost about 10-11 psi on autotune. Should I boost more with the update

I am finally taking out all my stuff back to OEM to get this damn dme update. The dealership better freakin give it to me.

also - I plan on getting a baseline Dyno (like I should have before adding all the bolt-ons)..... THEN.... dyno after adding back the n55 stage 1 @ +4.5 psi, 93 octane the vishnu catless dp, and the afe cai. If I don't see 350 rwhp+ and 400+ tq... I'll be really pissed.

btw - pre dme (april 2010 build) with all those bolt-ons only yielded 307 rwhp and 327 tq. --> also, the dyno shop SUCKED balls as it was 102 degrees in there and they had a WEAK fan 15 feet away. I found a much better place so we shall see (hopefully) better results.

What are you saying to the dealership to get your DME updated? Or are you paying out of pocket?

I had mine updated by San Diego BMW, although it was Crevier who called me about the recall to update sine I purchased from them. My ride was built in 4/10.

I too just noticed last week the little 3er drifting when I took off DTC. Prior was the triangle with circle around.

That would be great, but my VIN isn't included in any DME update open campaigns. So they won't do it unless there's a problem.

CP get ur update again -

guys shiv confirm'd that with the latest FW update from
PROCEDE - FW pro5v005 and MAP 8-8
u should be able to go to the dealer and update ur DME
without taking off the tune.

CP be the guinea pig and report back for us.

How much did it cost you? My dealer told me the charge is $175 because there are no recalls nor fault codes for my car, so BMW will not cover it free.

I think im just going to unplug the can wires. I dont want to drive all the way there again lol. only if shiv is 100% sure not just a should lol. I will be going monday
