CCTV camera

Anyone recommend a decent CCTV camera? Seen quite a few on eBay but unsure of quality. Anyone got experience?

Thanks.

Might help if you are a bit more specific.

e.g. Is it for your car or your property. Whats your budget etc

Sorry should have said. Be for outside my garage. Ideally simple setup with no massive hardware. I like the idea that its dormant until sensor is activated so keeps the running cost down.

Less than £100.

Bit over your budget range, but I can highly recommend this:

Swann are known for quality CCTV systems. They're customer support is top notch too. Plus if you have a smartphone you can set it up for remote viewing (nice!). I paid £150 for the very same kit from ebuyer.co.uk.

At the end of the day you want a decent, reliable kit (I've read about some of those eBay specials shorting due to water ingress in the cameras and the recording being unreliable).

Less than £100.
Is that less than £100 for just the camera, or do you need a complete system?

worthwhile putting a DVR on it. Look for a full D1 recorder. this will give full motion video across 4 or more channels
Don't worry about hdd size as they all overwrite on loop.
