How many miles are the e90 325i tires good for before replacement? any difference between sport and non sport?
Thanks

The non sports have either Bridgestone EL42s or Continental something or anothers, I think the Bridgestones are rated for ~30,000 miles and the Continentals are rated for ~40,000 miles.

I wore my EL42s out in under 8,000 miles though so your mileage may vary

all depends on how hard you drive your tires... i think oem tires should be good for at least 25k miles... once you cross that, start checking your tires for tread wear....

My Bridgestones started gave me a whopping 30k before becoming nigh useless. Worst tire ever made imo.

I bought the Continental OEM tires as replacements. According to The Tire Rack, they're warrantied for 60k miles. Don't know if I totally believe that, but we'll see I guess.

Either way, they ride way better than the Bridgestones. I can actually feel the road again.

Depends if you drive your tires til they're bald, or to the min recommended treadwear

For me, I had 20K miles on mine b4 I sold it, and I think it had another 5-10K left. Depends on how you drive. +10K may be wishful thinking on my part, but I'll never know since I got rid of it.

FWIW i had 27k on my tires and the fronts had HORRIBLE outter wear (alignment was fine, weirddddddd?? should this have been recalled?) but the rears looked like they had atleast 10k more. i drive pretty easy...just commute to and from work.

8,000 miles? Holy crap, do you track ur ride on weekends? That's nuts!

My OEM Bridgestones are 30K+ and running. Hate them tho, noisy as shit and handles like crap, can't wait to swap them for some non RFT's...

If i need to get new tires on the e90 sport package before i return it (lease return), do I need run-flats or can I just put regular tires on it?

well I only have 8500 on my OEM's but they definetly seem like they have more than half left. Maybe I've slowed down in my old age but these look like they will last at least 15k, if not 20k.

I don't think the ride is as bad as some describe but I will be replacing with non-run flats anyways..

I just replaced my OEMs at 48000 KM. They were done... I mean completely bald on one side of the front tires.

They wore horribly and were so loud at the end it was unbelievable.

I went with real tires and its like having a brand new car again.

23000 miles for me. I could have gone to 30000 but Michelin Pilot Sport PS2s sound tempting at the moment hehe

You can't correct the outer wear without replacement, UNLESS you are chronically under-inflated. I had the original Bridgestones for 20K and got new Contis because I couldn't stand the noise. There was plenty of tread left everywhere except that outer front edge. Regular daily driver with some spirits on the weekends.
