2nd Cat Delete (or replace with Hi-Flo Cats), and resonator delete is your cheapest exhaust mod... All the Exhaust manufacturer's will claim they are the best, you have to do your research and pick for yourself ...

Do some research and decide for yourself which is best for you.

My suggestions include AMS Performance, Vanguard, AA, AFE and Remus.

i believe HPF has the best exhaust seeing how its a full 3.5". However, I don't believe it's out yet.

Leaving HPF out, I would say AMS or AE

When they do I bet it will definitely be really nice, but I have a feeling it will come in pretty costly compared to the other exhaust out there now

E46 M3 exhaust is pretty cheap though, and they have said the 335i stuff is supposed to be cheaper. Guess we will see pretty soon.

Go with 3" catless DPs first and foremost. What is your budget for the exhaust? If money is no object I would recommend the ARQRAY system from Japan. IMO, it's the best sounding setup out there.
