I don't actually, I hate when people do that and I have no problem calling people out on it.

For long drives I alternate which hand I have on the steering wheel and I don't grip the steering wheel like I'm trying to choke it.

I also saw that as well but I was iffy to jump on it being that Alpinestars is a dirt bike company. Yeah they have a lot of knowledge but how dependable is it in a different sense that doesn't involve dirt or mud or rocks smacking your hands?

IMO they are one of the most regarded safety gear brands out there, they've been around since the 60's. So they must be doing something right, lets not forget their gear is used in Nascar, Formula 1, GP2, GP3, motoGP and most importantly the Stig! If its good enough for the Stig its good enough for your drive to the grocery store

Lol I never did pay attention to the stig's gear. Ill be giving those a serious consideration . Thanks for the insight that I would've never seen !

In my BMW and other rides only gloves if super cold outside and Florida isn't much of an issue for that...

I was reading on the corvette forums that a guy also did the same. I was looking around at them and they don't look half bad, the only problem is that they won't pass regulations for FIA(?)
I mean if they can keep you from being burned by JET fuel, why not regular gasoline which burns at a lower point?
