^^ Hi I just went through his thread & it just gave me an idea, if my CBS is off anyway and this morning it was at 1300 miles for front brakes, but dealer checked front pads out not even 2-3 months ago and they had 5mm of pad left give or take and I was to reset the CBS system just for front brakes, would the RED warning light in dash Still come on like it should once my brakes hit the 3mm warning mark?
The whole reason for my thread was I am worried what will happen when CBS goes down to zero but I still have decent amount of pad left. I dont want to be stuck with a light on constantly until I change them... Any pro's know if this will work for my situation? THANKS

Mine were replaced at 6mm pad wear. Try a different dealer.

I can tell from experience even if it does not light up, you will hear the metal part in the sensor rubbing against your rotor. The reaction from people when I would drive through a parking lot convinced me it was time to do the brakes.

That seems way to early to change pads...
I called 3 dealers in my area and all 3 said 3mm is when it is time to get into dealership to change out brakes. And I know I will hear rubbing noise I just dont want a light on all the time, and still have 6 months to a years worth of pad left on my front brakes. So if I reset the sensor in the CBS System would it hurt anything or if my CBS hits the Zero mark will it just go negative like what was stated on an earlier post? Any Techs here that could verify for me?

Last time for a bump for any new info, I will search as well but now its according to the CBS the front brakes are going down in 300 mile increments and I am at 1300 as of this morning.
Plus, if I have them do brakes and I say I dont want rotors done, just pads they will do it but I have to sign something to say I declined advice of Tech, would this hurt me for CPO and any recall items in future? Thanks again everyone,
