Performance one is nice, Tischer also has them to match almost all interior trims (except Gray Poplar!)

Garage List
I have a spare automatic shift knob I can sell you... It's mint and not peeling. $40 shipped.

hey dcfsf,

i had the same problem on my car. i brought it back to my dealership and the replaced it with a new shift knob (under warranty). however, the new shift knob does not have the same silver-colored plastic piece (like the "aluminum trim" on the interior). the new shift knob has a real chromed metal piece (looks like its the same material as the shift paddles and the chrome trim on the steering wheel). this new material feels much smoother to the touch and appears to be heavier and more durable. you definitely wont have any peeling issues with this new one since its not painted and its a solid piece of metal.

any chance that you have the paperwork from when the dealer did it and have the part number?
