Dirty window.. inevitable in the 3 series?
My windows gets dirty every time I roll them down.... They can be crystal clear, but once they go down and back up, you see severals white streaks on them.
I heard the 3 series have this problem... Anyone has experienced this or has a solution? I must open my window twice a day to get in and out of my parking lot. |

No, I don't really have that issue when opening the window completely. I do notice a line at the bottom of the window though. It seems to be from the fact the window opens a small amount when you open the door and closes again after the door is shut on the E93.

I had this same thing and Kylekuu nailed what worked for me. Look at where the lines appear on your glass then lower your window completely. You'll probably find some debris on the felt pieces that pinch onto the glass when it's moving.
I took some masking tape and rolled it around a ruler with the adhesive side out. I then worked the tape/ruler across the felt pieces in between. I then took some AIO and a MF towel and cleaned the heck out of the felt pieces. I would imagine a good APC might do as well. Result? No more streaking (for a while). I need to do this about once or twice a year.

I noticed that I would get lint and other stuff stuck on the felt around the moonroof (on the outside of the car), so I started wrapping masking tape in loops with the sticky side out and running it along the felt - and it works great. Probably do it every couple of washes.
