I take it the 57 in your title indicates the age?
If your car is a 57 plate, the likelyhood is you should have been part of a recall(or enhancement as BMW called it) to replace a poor batch of injectors. Not much help now but maybe worth getting the rest checked out. Glad it didn't end up being a major failure. |

I did phone up bmw gave vin number they said 6 new injectors on 30k so that must of been the recall???? I'm having cyl 3 replaced as well because I did read if you replace 2 injectors it's better to do the 3 or if its just 1 that's ok is that true????

Mate, you shouldn't use regular unleaded even in a standard car.
Sure you can, but you'll gain 20bhp or more, better throttle response, smoother low down, more pull up top using super unleaded, so its the cheapest easiest tune you can buy. When its mapped its a waste of time unless you use super. Why spend all that on the car and tuning and then pinch pennies and waste it all? |
