Go with Map 5 or Map 3. Map 7 is too high for just mid pipes and a muffler addition as ur only modifications. |

it really doesn't matter what the final numbers are you really need to know the difference from no tune dyno to tune dyno. The power you gain is all that matters. All dyno's read differently.

Please use a lower map, you are going about this all wrong.
Read Terry's instructions, he doesnt recommend certain maps for certain mods for nothing. i'm sure your car is not very happy right now.

88F is pretty warm. Your HP will go up significantly in cooler temps, and in actual road conditions with better air flow. I have found engine temp and ambient temps have a greater effect on your power than people might think. That is why in my testing, even though scoops may help intake air, the decreased air flow to the radiator actually hampered my performance.

Or if you not up for modding, dump some race fuel in there and you're good to go on MAP7 and up.

No point in running map 7 type of boost numbers on the stock FMIC. You might get 1 good pull before the heat-soak sets in but that isn't even certain. I think the recommendations to use map 3 are right on target. Get an FMIC and THEN perhaps a DCI and you should be able to run more boost, like map 7 or whatever.
Your dyno looks about like my duno on just an SSTT on an otherwise stock car. Good luck with it all |

Not to sound redundant but I think FMIC has gotta be changed 1st. I feel like DCI's are going to raise IAT's and without an upgraded FMIC it is just going to make things worse. I also feel like the FMIC is the most restrictive and just all around "shitty" part on the whole car from a performance perspective. I do like DCI's after an FMIC is installed and DP's are great too, don't get me wrong. I know we have 93 octane here and some have ran map 7 on 91 octane (I think hotrod did/does on a stock car) so I guess each car is different.
Good luck with it though |
