JB4 and catless downpipe problems

Hi all,

I installed a JB4, DCI, catless downpipes and the downpipe fix. When everything was installed I tried using map 2 and map 5 but no matter what it went into map 4 then the CEL would come on and go away within a few minutes. Ive emailed BMS and did a couple logs and when I was on map 1 and did a log, they said my trims are maxing out and I'm pulling a lot of timing. They then suggested the BMS pump flash so I got the bavarian technic cable but have not done the flash yet. Before I went to try and install the pump flash, I went to read the codes because now my CEL stays on and got all these codes.

What should I do? Bring it to the dealer? Do the flash? Will messing around with the downpipe fix help my issue?

Thanks

Issues like this with Jb4 are very common. That is why they have BEF. MHD is bettet than BB flash. Also, you are not supposed to run with dp all the time but first try adjusting the dp fix. You can also rotate coils from cyl 4 & 6 to cyl 1 & 3. See if the misfires will follow the coil. Would not hurt if you replace all spark plugs as they are affordable. Timing pulling could be from weak spark plug and poor fuel quality so you can try mixing little e85, like gallon or two per tank.

From what I've heard, you only use the DP fix for a short amount of time that you'll be reverting back to stock (map 0). Otherwise, disconnect it & use the other appropriate maps

Your really are not supose to drive the car with the down pipe fix unless your getting the car smoged. Take the downside fix off and just use auto clear on the jb4 so the cel does not show for the cat less down pipes. Also load up the mhd jb4 pump back end flash and you should be good. And make sure the firmwear on the jb4 is up to date.
