I don't have the same degradation in performance you list, except maybe the reduced MPG when the wife drives. I've put in new sensors, moved them around, etc. to no avail. Even the dealer can't figure it out. Got lucky and the CEL went out when we got to the smog test station (this time)

turns out to be the OIL FILTER CAP..previous owner had oil change some where i assume and that place broke the prong on the filter cap and remove it and put cap and filter back in. that cap has an spring load inside causing some kind of pressure of some sort. but anyways. i got new cap and everything dissapear and car is GOOD! now.monitors set runs excellent! also pass smog!

Confirming: New OIL FILTER CAP not the Oil Fill cap. Because I will run down to the dealer and get one and have it done tomorrow if it's that easy.

yes OIL FILTER CAP...or you can remove your old one to see if that prong in the center of the cap is there.mines was just a cap with nothing inside of it lol..
