ok guys. so 2 weeks ago my dme fried (msd80) (i8aos) and now i have
(msd81) (ije0s) reflashed to cobb stg2+agg st. and now my exhaust sounds super quite as in it barley gurlgles or anything. also the engine/turbo seems to be much louder. not sure if im just not used to it now or what. i have cpe downpipes and hks exhaust fully catless.

Sounds like the new ECU might have a different software version on it, that changes the wastegate position during idle and low throttle. Kind of like lagfix settings on the JB4

How many miles on the car, dme should be covered under the 7/70000 emission warranty.
