E90 320D EGR Bypass

Hello.

I've been looking into this all day and have found a decent kit, but I'm just concerned if it will throw an engine management light? I know it can be coded out but that's more hardship and expense.

All thoughts / experiences welcome.

this is where I bought my egr bypass from for my 330d, I'm sure they make the bypass for the 320d too.

I bought one for my 330d from this guy too and he sent me one for a Jaguar. He said he would send a replacement, but it hasn't arrived and he is no longer responding to my emails.

That lot are a bunch of robbing cunts, sent me the wrong item, wouldn't replace it. Got told to buy another from them and sell the one they sent me on eBay myself.

I've one ordered from a different seller (although also based in Newcastle) and will update this once it arrives and is installed. Thanks everyone.

To answer my own question, the answer is yes, it does in fact cause a CEL. The code is 'P0401 - Exhaust Gas Recirculation "A" Flow Insufficient Detected' and I'm hoping to have it mapped out later this week. Hope it helps someone!

Be interested to know if it makes any difference to driving feel/power.

I'll hopefully find out over the next week or so, throttle response does seem improved but I don't think there's any change in power. I'll also have to wait to see if there's a difference in fuel efficiency too.
