Sept 11th Jacksonville FL Meet

UPDATE: PICS ON PAGE 2

Well in an attempt to get a few more people on board I figured I would start a new thread for anyone interested in have a little meet/cruise on September 11th.

I figure if we can get at least 4-5 cars together it will be worth while. Also if we can get enough people interested we can adjust the date. Who is in?

I will keep the list here.

ITINERARY:

11 AM- Meet at the Walgreens on the corner of Atlantic Blvd and A1A. (plenty of room for ALOT of cars, im being hopeful that we will get some more interest...)

LUNCH SOMEWHERE!!

From there we will head toward downtown on Atlantic for a nice cruise, I would like to get to the stadium and the riverfront for some car photo shoot opportunities. If anyone has a great camera bring it! I will bring mine. After we take some pics, we will head south on 95 for a leisure cruise and give our passengers the opportunity to take some rolling shots of each others cars. (this will be a cruise.. no speeders.. we dont need and 5-0 attention)

Then the final route will be county road 210 to Palm Valley and eventually back to A1A in Ponte Vedra, those who want to stick around and take some more pics and bs we can go to many nice little spots in that area.

Get the cars clean, the gastank filled and lets have a nice saturday afternoon!! Hope to see everyone there, and hope that this is the first of many.

I'm anxious to find out the best place to install upgrades in our area.

BTW, I'm in East Arlington (towards the beach) if it matters. But I'm willing to drive to where you guys decide.

BUMP for more entries! Can we get a couple more people?? I would like to know by tomorrow afternoon so we can decide if we are gonna do this. IF so i will come up with the agenda.. i am thinking about meeting somewhere in Jax Beach and taking a cruise down through Palm Valley and up 95 to downtown for some photos...

You guys may want to consider cruising by that little church that's been promising to do a book burning on 9/11. Might make for some unique pic background and you'll be a part of an epic and probably, historic event. May be worth the 70 mile drive

Ummm, count me out on that one. Seems that area is going to be a little too HOT!

Alright everyone, one last bump for the day until I post the itinerary for our saturday. We will be meeting at 11AM in the Atlantic Beach Area. If anyone has any last minute requests for photo locations, driving routes or additional people please let me know by the afternoon. I will be bringing the gf so she can take some pictures while we are en route, i encourage you to bring whoever wants to ride along!

just curious, how long that cruise will be? I'm from Miami,FL. but in the military and driving up to NC tomorrow night so I may make it out there.. I just want to know how long it is so I can try to time everything.. thanks

I would be up for lunch. There are a ton of places along the way. We can make a group decision on saturday morning when we meet!

It should be about a 3 hour event total. But come meet us at 11am.. even if you leave before the last part of the cruise you can get some lunch and some pictures with us!
